What is LA Pick 4?
It’s a customizable number lottery which allows you to change the game with different play types and wager amounts. It’s popular in multiple states but LA Pick 4 is specific to Louisiana.
When do draws take place?
There’s a Pick 4 draw in Louisiana every day at 9:59 - except for Christmas Day and Easter.
When’s the deadline to purchase tickets?
You will have to purchase your Pick 4 tickets by 9:30 PM on the day of the draw or they will automatically be entered into the next daily draw.
How do you win?
The way you win depends on your play types. For instance, you could either match numbers in exact or any order. View every play type under our

How much is a ticket?
A ticket can cost either $0.50 or $1 if you do a single play on one of those wager amounts. If you choose the Combo play type then your ticket will cost 4 to 24 times your single play amount (depending on the numbers selected).
How many draws can you enter in one go?
You can enter the same numbers in either 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 14 consecutive draws. Just mark this option when purchasing your ticket.
How much can you win?

What are the odds of winning?
You have 1 in 10,000 odds of winning the top prize and 1 in 417 odds of winning the lowest prize. Different play types mean different odds of winning - head over to our

What's the age limit to playing Pick 4?
You must be at least 21 years old to play lottery games in Louisiana.
How are my winnings taxed?
In Louisiana, lottery winnings over $5,000 are taxed at 24% for federal taxes and 3% for state taxes.
How to claim winnings?
Claim prizes under $600 at any local Louisiana lottery retailer. For prizes over $600 you can mail in your winning ticket (along with a claim form and valid photo ID) at the following address: Louisiana Lottery Corporation, Attn: Prize Validations, P.O. Box 90010, Baton Rouge, LA 70879-0010
What's the deadline to claim a prize?
You must claim your lottery prize within 180 days of the draw in which the prize was won.
